The Seasonal Snook Fishery

All locals know it, but few master it. We have a bustling population of monster snooks in our estauries. An overview of the great inshore snook fishery, regulations, where and when to fish, gear and tactics. Emphasis on fly and light tackle. Presented by Captain Mike Lee.

The ABCs's of Kite Fishing

This seminar emphasizes kite fishing for sailfish, by far the most favored method in our area, consistently producing tournament winning numbers. A discussion on different kites, their use, rigging and bait presentation. Presented by Capt. Mark Morgan.

Kayak/Paddleboard Fishing

The popularity of kayak and paddle board fishing is increasing exponentialy. It is fun, affordable and allows access to waters that are difficult for boats to reach. However, these fishing platforms come with challenges and require preparation and knowledge. Join Capt. Mike Lee for an informative evening. Featuring  Blueline Paddle Boards.

Capt. Mike Lee

With an impressive fly fishing resume, Captain Mike is the newest member of the StingRay team . Mike is a guide, writer and author of a fly fishing guide to our local waters. Mike heads our fly fishing department and is always available for advice and guidance. With a wealth of local knowledge and his willingness to share that knowledge, he is a valuable resource for beginners and seasoned anglers alike.

Capt. Mark Morgan

Mark is a member of the StingRay team and an expert on the loc al fisheries. He is a source of incredible in-depth knowledge on our area and a kite fishing practitioner that likes to experiment with new kites and techniques.
